Counselling support
Sometimes children need some extra support to help them with a family problem such as bereavement or divorce. At Warren Wood we are able to offer access to a new confidential counselling service called ‘Listen up – Talk it out’. The service is manned by trained counsellors and is free to any family who might need extra support. If we feel a child in school would benefit from having someone to talk to then we will contact parents to discuss the possibility. If any parent wants to use the service then feel free to contact me.
We now have a registered Signalong tutor for information
French Lessons
Mrs Staffen-Bold will be coming into school to teach French again this year

Project Prehistoric Medway
The Guildhall Museum ran a five-week course for extended services at The Thomas Aveling School, based in the public library on the school site. Its subject was prehistoric Medway.
Eight children from Warren Wood were involved in the project.
